Bergamo!

.

On Friday we went to Bergamo. We saw a lot of churches and that was pretty much it. It was very very very cold, but we managed it. On our way back to Tirano we went for a pizza. It was very big, but almost everyone ate their own. The pizza was very good, but then again it’s a traditional Italian dish so it’s supposed to be good.

Bormio

On Saturday we went to Bormio. We went around the city, but it was to cold to see anything so we went to a cafe for a hot cup of coffee. Afterwards we went iceskating, it was so much fun. We played hockey and acted like retards. (: After the ice adventure we went to the Hotel Management School for lunch. It was very good and the students were nice. Then we went home and had out afternoon free.

The Cold Won’t Get Us!

On Saturday we boarded the public bus in Tirano, and headed for the mountain resort town of Bormio.  Accompanying us was our professor, Mr. Spada.  As we exited the bus, we were greeted by a brisk, -15 degree celcius wind.  We realized quickly that we being outside would not be entirely pleasant on that day.  But we wouldn’t let that affect our spirits!  We dashed into the Mozart cafe and warmed up with hot chococlates, coffees, and warm crossiants.  Over interesting conversations, jokes, and stories, we were able to warm ourselves, and get ready for the tour of the rest of the town.  Mr. Spada showed us some interesting sights, and then we walked in the bright sun to an Olympic training center and ice skating rink.  We rented our skates, and dahsed out onto the freshly cleared ice.  We gleefully skated around, holding hands, playing games, and enjoying some competitive ice hockey.  Needless to say, we had forgotten about the cold temperatures!  We left the ice skating rink and headed to the Bormio Hotel Training School.  We were greeted by a friendly staff, and we enjoyed a delicious, three course meal of pasta, pork Milanese, and a creamy Panna Cotta with forest berries.  With our stomachs full, we went back to the bus station and drove back to Tirano.  All in all, it was an excellent morning and afternoon, and a fun day spent with our Slovene exchange students.

Our beautiful experience together

Goooooooodmorning.I’ve had a great time this week .Which  was the most interesting activity of this exchange …? It is hard to explain. In my opinion   all  the exchange activities were very important for learning and speaking English.  I met new guys who speak a different language. I met my exchange partner a week ago and she’s very exuberant. She speaks good English . The funniest activity was ice skating in Bormio  and the best moment was the welcome party. The exchange was really great, but the worst  thing was the cold weather, and have a look at our teachers!

I can’t wait to go to Slovenia

Tirano-Kranj :D

This exchange was a fantastic experience because it was a new experience for us.
We went to Bergamo, Bormio and Chiavenna, but we prefer Bergamo because there are many shops and bars.
We like the city very much, because it was quiet and we had a good time here.
It was very cold, so we often went to bars for a drink or a hot chocolate.
We had a good time with Slovenian students because they’re friendly and funny.

ČAUČI POZDRAUČI :*

Ciao ragazzi!
We have really enyojed this exchange experience and we also learned a lot of italian words such as: molto bene, buono, buona sera, neve, grazie, tirare, springere and so on. The other words we won’t mention (italian students know why :D )

What about italian food?

If you ask Manca, she loves all the food she see, and she always eats everything she gets. :) Generally we like food here, but we are not use to eat so greasy food. We also don’t have so big dinners. Here in Italy they have much more dishes than we have in Slovenia and we like it. We love desserts the most! In this exchange we have ate panacotta with berries and other delicious things. No matter what, we ate really good, but sometimes we were a little bit hungry.

People in Tirano are “pazze”!
The first thing we found out about them was that they talk a lot. :) When we arrived in Tirano we were a little bit scared, but then our exchange partners all ran to us and hug us all around. They have prepared us a welcome party with a lot of food and that give us a good impression. For the next second we knew it will be very fuuuuuuny week. :) They are very friendly, cheerful and the most important they are good hosts. Some of them are very loud, too and some of them are very talkative. ( Mara we love you! :* )

Activities (sightseeing)
Tirano is very beautiful city. We visited Chiavenna, Bergamo, Bormio and Morbegno where we did some shopping. We also saw church, church, church and church. In our free time we conquered all the bars and pubs here. We were knowing each other and had a lot of fun.

Our exchange partners

- Tina’s: Mara Meraviglia
At the beginning I was scared of her, because the first thing she has done was, jump on me in the middle of the railway station. Now I love her very much. She is the loudest person I ever knew and also a big party animal! :D I have learned her a lot of slovenian words. To be honest, only the bad ones. :) Mara, I will miss you & our stupid moments, and I can’t wait to see you again! Baci :*

- Manca’s: Antoneta Kristovska
Anto is the sweetest person I have ever met. She’s very kind, nice and a very very very good host. She’s got the funniest laugh and when she starts laughing, everybody laughs because of her laugh. She speaks english very well, so we were talking all the time, we were unstopable. For the weekend we went  to Livigno. There was molto molto molto freddo but also molto buono. The Saturday night was awesome!! :D D We went to disco and we danced all night like crazy – PAZZA ;) ) Anto i will miss you very much! :** Can’t wait for you to come to Slovenia!! :D D We will have so much fun! :D

- Martina’s: Federica Strafaci
Kiko is a friendly person and she speaks English very well. On Sunday I went to watch her volleyball match and she turn the game around so they won.  With her mum we spoke German, so I have one experience more. She also have very fluffy dog called Toby who likes me very much. I also like ”Risotto alla Milanese”, which was cooked by her father. I can’t wait to see her again when she will give me back the visit. :*

We will miss you all and we can guarantee you, we will have as much fun as we had here. Basta! <3 ;***

The exchange

7. February 2012

For everybody the exchange is a new experience and we are all enjoying it. We met a lot of new and very kind people and we got new friends. This experience is very important because we also emprove our english. On the exchange we comunicate with each other and we share different opinions. Sometimes it was hard the express our thoughts so we used body language and made some drawings. We all had a really good time so we hope that when Italian students come to Slovenia we will enjoy as well.

Thank you for  this experience and see you in Slovenia!!!
